South Bay BMW is the first dealer in Southern California to announce the debut of the all new 2012 3 series (F30).  In this video, Jacob Harb, BMW North America’s Market Manager, and Peter Boesen, South Bay’s VP/GM, lead a comprehensive tour of this exciting new 6th-generation 3 series.

Among the many improvements in the 3 series are a wider stance,  more athletic appearance, and increased  overall length that provides additional rear leg room.

Today, BMW features HIDs or the high density discharge. They are preferred by most customers due to its illumination quality.The same thing is also true with the Xenon HID conversion because it provides improved light. It comes in different colors and it provides a shining look to your vehicle. Available colors for your HID Bulbs are bright white (4300), crystal white (6000k) and golden-yellow (3000k). Majority of the OEM kits that are in BMW have a 6000 HID kit.

BMW HIDs also varies in size. Some of the BMW HID bulbs available are H10-BMW xenon bulbs, H-9 BMW HID xenon bulbs, H-8 BMW HID xenon bulbs, H7-BMW HID xenon bulbs, H4H HID xenon bulbs, H4 BMW HID xenon bulbs, H3 HID xenon bulbs, and H1 HID xenon bulbs.

Peter from BMW Los Angeles and his family were planning to go to Hawaii for a vacation. Peter and Andrew Bynum of Los Angeles Lakers had a talk at the car park one day. Andrew narrated how happy the LA Lakers were seeing a lot of their fans during the ring ceremony, then after that they also beat Boston. They already have a lot of major accomplishments and still hoping to have more.

Peter mentioned that the last time he saw Andrew was when he bought his new M6 from South Bay BMW. The car was now very different compared to its look when it was first bought. Now, it’s already considered as a performance car with a 500 plus Hp.

Peter asked the question – of all types of BMW, why an M6?  According to the famous player, since he was young, he was already dreaming of owning an M6 because of its specs. He first saw it on a magazine with a tension kit in a Halloween color. So when he went to LA, he visited Los Angeles BMW knowing it’s the best dealership at South Bay and purchased the white M6.

He immediately brought it to the paint booth and he had it two toned; black on top and white at the bottom. He added a body kit, custom Brembo brake kit, tags, and stickers to make it look a lot sportier. He had the body kit done by Raden Motor Sports and have purchased the twin supercharging kit from G – Power which allows him to run 200 miles per hour. Andrew then showed Peter how he gets into the M6 and further enumerated the changes in the interior of the car.

Peter outlines the reasoning behind South Bay BMW’s success with pre-owned vehicles in the past year.  Many dealerships are experiencing a drop in sales of pre-owned vehicles while South Bay’s sales are better than ever.

Peter started to think back and soon he began to realize his spike in sales were due to his new approach at buying pre-owned vehicles.  With so much experience in the industry,

Mark and Peter head back to the Los Angeles BMW dealer to reassess the situation.  At South Bay BMW, Peter has one last trick up his sleeve, but waits till after he reviews the GT 550 to reveal his surprise.

Peter shows that the  550  GT has many of the same features you would you find in the 7 series, yet the price range is about 15 to 20 thousand dollars cheaper.  The backseats are equipped with electronic adjustments and each headrest has its own screen.  The truck is versatile as it opens like a regular trunk as well as a hatchback.

After some time on the road, the search is over.  The Kogi BBQ truck is brought to the Los Angeles BMW dealership and Peter and Mark get a taste of what has been a phenomenon throughout Los Angeles.  Everyone enjoys the tasty fusion of Korean BBQ and Latino style in one delicious taco.

Together they sit comfortably in the luxurious GT 550i as they make their way across town.  The 550i is equipped with the largest sunroof in the BMW family and also comes with a letterbox navigation screen.  Peter explains all the ins and outs of what the 550i has to offer which proves to be a sweet deal even for his dad in Palm Desert.

Along the way they find that the BBQ truck is much more difficult to find than they initially anticipated.  When they arrive at the Korea Market the truck is nowhere in sight.

They are faced with either returning to the South Bay or satisfying their hunger and find the next available spot for the Kogi truck.  The pair checks twitter once more and find that the truck should be on Abbot Kinney by 3:00pm.  Again they drive to where they think the truck should be however, they run into a few more problems along the way.
