Peter outlines the reasoning behind South Bay BMW’s success with pre-owned vehicles in the past year.  Many dealerships are experiencing a drop in sales of pre-owned vehicles while South Bay’s sales are better than ever.

Peter started to think back and soon he began to realize his spike in sales were due to his new approach at buying pre-owned vehicles.  With so much experience in the industry,

Peter knew that one of the most important aspects a customer considers when buying a pre-owned vehicle, is the number of previous owners.

Obviously, the ideal number of owners would be one.  So South Bay BMW became very selective and discerning when buying its selection of pre-owned vehicles and because of that, customers were more receptive to purchasing a car at South Bay BMW.  South Bay highlights their pre-owned vehicles with a seal of approval accenting while one owner thus making it more appealing to customers.  Customers can have peace of mind knowing that South Bay BMW is committed to customer satisfaction.

Mark and Peter head back to the Los Angeles BMW dealer to reassess the situation.  At South Bay BMW, Peter has one last trick up his sleeve, but waits till after he reviews the GT 550 to reveal his surprise.

Peter shows that the  550  GT has many of the same features you would you find in the 7 series, yet the price range is about 15 to 20 thousand dollars cheaper.  The backseats are equipped with electronic adjustments and each headrest has its own screen.  The truck is versatile as it opens like a regular trunk as well as a hatchback.

After some time on the road, the search is over.  The Kogi BBQ truck is brought to the Los Angeles BMW dealership and Peter and Mark get a taste of what has been a phenomenon throughout Los Angeles.  Everyone enjoys the tasty fusion of Korean BBQ and Latino style in one delicious taco.

Together they sit comfortably in the luxurious GT 550i as they make their way across town.  The 550i is equipped with the largest sunroof in the BMW family and also comes with a letterbox navigation screen.  Peter explains all the ins and outs of what the 550i has to offer which proves to be a sweet deal even for his dad in Palm Desert.

Along the way they find that the BBQ truck is much more difficult to find than they initially anticipated.  When they arrive at the Korea Market the truck is nowhere in sight.

They are faced with either returning to the South Bay or satisfying their hunger and find the next available spot for the Kogi truck.  The pair checks twitter once more and find that the truck should be on Abbot Kinney by 3:00pm.  Again they drive to where they think the truck should be however, they run into a few more problems along the way.

While driving around in the X6 Active Hybrid from his Los Angeles BMW dealer during a review, Peter makes a stop at his son’s elementary school to show us that making appointments on the South Bay BMW website is so easy that a regular 5^th grader can do it.

Peter visits the principal’s office and has his son paged to the computer room to give us a cool demonstration on the ease of making appointments and displays how a first timer can effortlessly utilize that benefit.

Peter’s son is sent back to class, and he continues his review of the X6 Active Hybrid. Peter’s dad from Palm Desert is in the market for a new car, so Peter reviews the new X6 Active Hybrid as a possible good match for him.

Peter tells him what he likes about the car and a couple things about it that might not fit his dad’s needs since he is a realtor in Palm Desert and has certain requirements from a vehicle for work

Peter hopes to be delivering one from the Los Angeles BMW dealer to his dad’s Palm Desert home very soon.

King Gillette Ranch (Mulholland @ Las Virgenes in Calabasas, CA) In the 1920’s, King Gillette was known for hosting the most prestigious parties in all of Los Angeles County on his sprawling 500 acre ranch. On the night of the last ball ever witnessed on the ranch, the inmates from a local asylum escaped and invaded the ball. Guests including Los Angeles’ high profile and elite ran from the mansion to get to their cars in the hopes of escaping, however, the inmates were much faster and more vicious. Only few escaped with their lives. It has been said that on most nights in October, you can see the frantic guests searching the King Gillette Ranch still looking for their cars.
