Los Angeles BMW Dealership Raises $122,000 For Walk With Sally
Gavin Rossdale Rocked The House!
Thank you to everyone that contributed…..
This year the White Light White Night event was held in South Bay BMW’s starlight theater in Torrance, California. This yearly event is meant to raise money for charities such as Walk with Sally, a charity dedicated to those whose lives are drastically changed through the introduction of cancer into their lives.. When one finds out that their life isn’t quite going to be what they planned it’s very important to make sure that you have someone there to help you through the hard times, especially if it is a condition that is going to affect you for the rest of your life.
This is a very special night, and it is called White Night White light because the color white is often associated with healing. This may be the reason that the majority of hospitals have assumed a white themes. This is also why these events are completely white. This year in Orange County you can be assure that everyone was wearing the proper attire!
This year prominent individuals such as Wil Silva from South Bay BMW were there to support this event along with Gavin Rossdale who rocked through the nigh providing music and fun for everyone present. As always one guest was eligible to win a free BMW convertible from South Bay BMW, and that was definitely a good way to get people to attend!
South Bay BMW is a very prominent BMW delaer that sells both new as well as Certified Pre Owned BMW vehicles at their BMW Dealership. Those who enjoy BMW’s are encouraged to have a look at South Bay BMW, or even go so far as to look at other locations such as BMW Los Angeles.
What is truly amazing is the amount of money that was actually made from this entire event. Last year the event won a total of $30,000 for Walk with Sally, but this year it actually ended up making $100,000 which is a vast improvement!
Those who attended said the night was absolutely incredible! Ranging from video presentations by Walk With Sally, to a silent auction of high profile items. As usual the beer, wine, and spirits were provided by private organizations donating for a good cause.
We all know the importance of the existence of groups like Walk With Sally, and the fact that so many people banded together in order to support them is an indication of just how loving and caring our society can be at times, even if it simply doesn’t feel that way at times. No one has to do this, in fact there is no one compelling anyone to help others, and in fact they don’t have to continually do it every single year, but they do it which should be a lesson to everyone, everywhere that there is hope for the future.
This was truly a monumental night! Many people have shown their support for Walk With Sally, and with any luck next year will be just as good. We’ll just have to wait and see!
